RRC’s Legionella Awareness Short Course covers details of the regulations surrounding control of legionella as laid out in The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, in particular the context for regulations and Approved Codes of Practice that apply to legionella. This includes information provided in HSE ACoP L8: The control of legionella bacteria in water systems. The course raises awareness of the risk of legionella bacteria no matter how big or small the premises, or how many people use it.
It is a suitable for anyone with responsibility for premises that have water systems that can pose a risk of legionella. This can be an employer, landlord or letting agent.
