It's important to pick the right Level 6 course for you, so understanding what's involved in an NVQ is key. When deciding whether the ProQual NVQ Level 6 Diploma is better than a traditional taught course live the NEBOSH Diploma, there are 3 key things to consider:

Workplace access - The NVQ Diploma is a practical qualification completed by compiling a portfolio of evidence from your workplace. This means if you are not currently in a H&S role which will allow you to create the relevant evidence, an NVQ is not the right fit for you.
Experience - As with workplace access, it is important that you have the right level of experience to be successful at an NVQ Diploma.
Timeframe - The timeframe to complete the NVQ and NEBOSH Diploma are similar, however, there is a key difference. Where the NEBOSH Diploma requires dedicated time to study on top of your day-to-day work, the ProQual NVQ Diploma is built from your actual work.
