NEBOSH National Diploma - Unit B Element 2
Small amendments to note:
- We have made minor amendments to the diagram entitled ‘Relative Hazards of Solids, Liquids, Gases/Vapours in Terms of Ability to Enter the Body’ and its explanation (p2-24 and 2-25).
- We have made minor amendments to the diagram entitled ‘Mucus Effect on Small Particles’ (p2-38).
- We have made a minor amendment to the diagram entitled ‘Pathways Taken by Toxic Materials in Conducting Airways and Respiratory Units’ (p2-40).
- We have added some additional detail, regarding limitations, to the following sections: ‘Mutagenicity Testing’ (p2-52 – 2-53); ‘Long-Term Animal Toxicity Studies’ (p2-53 – 2-54); and ‘Chemical Analogy Studies’ (p2-54 – 2-55).
- We have also removed a link under the ‘Other Sources of Information’ heading of the ‘Classifying Hazardous Substances’ section. The link was to an ‘Edinburgh University’ page which no longer exists.
