NEBOSH Fire Certificate

To achieve the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management, you will need to successfully complete the three compulsory units (Unit NGC1: 'The Management of Health and Safety', Unit FC1: 'Fire Safety and Risk Management' and Unit FC2 - the workplace practical fire risk assessment).
We will provide you with all the support necessary to get you through your NEBOSH Certificate programme successfully. But sometimes you may just have too much on to attempt the entire course in one go or you may just want to dip your toe in to see how you get on.
And as the first unit of each qualification is the same, you can wait until you have that under your belt before you decide where to go next.
Management of safety and health (Unit NGC1)
Controlling workplace hazards (Unit NGC2)
The Practical Assessment (Unit NGC3)
Fire Safety and Risk Assessment (Unit FC1)
The Practical Assessment (Unit FC2)
Both the NEBOSH National General Certificate and National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management are currently unitised.
At RRC, we offer you the opportunity to embark on a single unit of a Certificate, allowing you to build up your qualification slowly. This process is called 'unitisation'.
Contact us for further help on enrolling on a NEBOSH Certificate programme unit by unit.
The NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management provides a basic knowledge and understanding on occupational fire safety and prepares you to look at the conduct and review of fire risk assessments and fire preventive and protective measures within most workplaces. It has been designed for managers, supervisors and employee representatives.
Anyone can enrol on the Certificate programme.
Click here for details of what the course covers.
If you successfully complete the course, you will be entitled to membership of IOSH (at Tech IOSH level) and the IIRSM (at Associate Membership level).
The NEBOSH Certificate entitles you to exemptions from significant parts of the NEBOSH National General Certificate, as well as providing the perfect basis for you to progress onto the NEBOSH National Diploma or NEBOSH Specialist Diploma in Environmental Management.
If you're not sure if you’re ready for a full NEBOSH Certificate, why not just enrol for a single unit? You will receive a certificate from NEBOSH and you can go on to to complete the second unit (and achieve the full NEBOSH Certificate qualification) at any time in the following 5 years.
