IEMA Environmental Qualifications
IEMA – the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment offer a range of recognised and widely respected environmental qualifications from introductory courses to the associate certificate. RRC offer full training for a variety of IEMA courses, all carefully designed to meet the specific needs of the relevant IEMA syllabus.
Who needs IEMA training?
The courses are relevant to those interested in environmental management and learning about EMS (environmental management systems). Many of our students come from the oil and gas, construction, and food processing industries, and use their qualifications to progress further in their successful careers.
IEMA Courses
Our courses are developed by experienced environmental trainers, who work closely with our educational editors. Between them our trainers and editors have many years experience which they pour into every element of course development. Our IEMA courses can be studied over several months, or condensed into more intensive periods of classroom study.
Learning Options
IEMA qualifications can be studied as classroom courses at one of our centres in the UK, Bahrain or Dubai; or alternatively through distance/e-learning courses (complete with online assessment for maximum convenience). If you are looking at providing training for your organisation, we can also tailor our programmes to suit your specific requirements, including delivering courses at your workplace.
Course Content
The introductory course covers background and key components of the EMAS and the ISO 14000 Series, and the interface between other management systems. The foundation course builds on this with business applications and environmental legislation as well as tools for assessing environmental performance. The associate certificate takes the study much further.
