CITB Site Safety Plus

The CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) was founded in 1964, by the UK government to develop skills in the Construction industry.

RRC is a CITB Approved Centre for the Site Safety Plus training scheme offering courses In-Company throughout the UK.

RRC’s CITB Courses

RRC's Site Safety Plus courses are designed for the building, civil engineering and allied industries.

Provides awareness of potential construction site hazards for those who are new to the industry.
It is the first step towards a CSCS Labourers Green Card (Labourer).

  • Classroom: 1 day - In-company throughout the UK

This course provides awareness of key environmental and health & safety responsibilities for those in a supervisory role in a construction or related environment.

  • Classroom: 2 days -In-company throughout the UK

This course delivers an in-depth and comprehensive foundation on how to operate, plan and manage a safe site. It is suitable for managers, supervisors & directors involved in construction or related industries.

  • Classroom: 5 days - In-company throughout the UK

The SMSTS Certificate is valid for 5 years and the refresher course is designed to update the holders of the certificate and extend the certification for a further 5 years.

  • Classroom: 2 days - In-company throughout the UK

The SEATS course provides an introduction to environmental issues related to construction sites and is designed for those with site supervisor or management responsibilities.

  • Classroom: 1 day - In-company throughout the UK
