The best part of the job is meeting the students and clients and seeing their enthusiasm and determination first-hand. Very few go into HSE for the glamour of the job; they do it because they want to make a difference.
That’s why we at RRC have to avoid complacency. Yes, what we do is good, but we have to continually seek to improve our courses and services so that our customers continue to get the best service possible.
Managing Director – Gary
- Key Skills – depends who you ask.
- Role – to make sure it all runs smoothly.
Directors – Matthew, Vicky, David, Andrew
- Key Skills – creating order out of chaos (although some staff may say the opposite).
- Role – to make sure quality is maintained, customers are listened to and innovation is at the heart of all aspects of the business.
The IT Crowd – Matthew and Richard, with Justin doing the pretty bits
- Key Skills – all those mysterious IT things that most of us do not understand.
- Role – maintaining and developing the crucial internal systems that manage all the training activities, websites and e-learning systems. Making sure the IT works and assisting others with improving their skills.
International Development - Gosia
- Key Skills –patience, determination, negotiation
- Role – looking after our overseas partners, developing new partnerships.
The Finance Team – Coralie and Elizabeth
- Key Skills – looking after the finances.
- Role – all those things finance departments do; paying the bills and chasing outstanding invoices.
The Marketing Team – Gary and Laura, with help from Matthew, Richard, Justin, Tony and most of the RRC staff
- Key Skills – communication.
- Role – making sure our customers have clear information on our products and services. Maintaining the many brochures and online references to RRC’s courses, organising attendance at exhibitions and conferences throughout the world.
