The Problem

ConocoPhillips China had a large number of employees that needed to be trained in health and safety issues to varying levels. They wanted to introduce a series of nationally-recognised qualifications that could be delivered by various learning methods from a single course provider and approached RRC Training as being one of the few training providers that could meet all of these needs.

The Solution

RRC Training reviewed the requirements specified by ConocoPhillips China and put in place a variety of training courses to meet the needs of each of the groups of staff identified by ConocoPhillips. As all of the courses were available via a variety of different learning methods, ConocoPhillips were able to choose the best method of learning for each student to ensure that the learning met the differing individual needs of each.

The Result

53 employees from ConocoPhillips China have now completed courses with RRC Training; 14 on the NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 distance learning programme, 4 on the NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 e-learning programme, 2 on the NEBOSH National Diploma blended learning programme and 33 on the NEBOSH National General Certificate.

The success rates have been incredibly high and staff have had the opportunity to sit exams in local British Councils to ensure that time and money were not wasted while employees travelled to and from exams.
