Gary Fallaize FRSA - Managing Director (RRC Training)/Director (RRC Middle East)

Gary Fallaize FRSA - Managing Director (RRC Training)/Director (RRC Middle East)Gary is responsible for managing the business and the strategic development of RRC Training. Originally trained as an accountant, Gary has been Managing Director since 1996. He has led our recent international expansion and is primarily responsible for co-ordination between RRC UK and RRC Middle East.

Dr David Towlson BSc, PhD, MIOSH – Lead Tutor

Dr David Towlson BSc, PhD, MIOSH – Lead TutorDavid initially trained as a research chemist and spent 7 years with Courtaulds, first as a Research and Development scientist and then as a Safety Manager. During this time, he gained his NEBOSH Diploma, studying through RRC and later joined the EHS department of an electronic chemicals manufacturer as product regulatory officer. He has been a regular NEBOSH Diploma examiner. David joined RRC as Lead Tutor in 2005 and was instrumental in developing our NEBOSH National Diploma block release programme.

"There is a real need to keep students interested and involved in the whole training process which is why I try to use humour, and occasionally a touch of frivolity, even with a subject as serious as Health and Safety."


Matthew Westmore MSc, MCSE - Director of Operations (RRC Training)/Director (RRC Middle East)

Matthew Westmore MSc, MCSE - Director of Operations (RRC Training)/Director (RRC Middle East)Matthew leads our dedicated Customer Service team, as well as managing the IT function within RRC Training. Matthew joined RRC in 1989 and in that time has developed all of the internal systems within RRC, as well as developing our bespoke e-learning system, enabling tutors and students to communicate with one another via our bespoke virtual classrooms.

Vicky O'Leary LLB - Director of Development (RRC Training)

Vicky O'Leary LLB - Director of Development (RRC Training)Vicky is responsible for the development and maintenance of all RRC's courses, ensuring that they give our students the best possible chance of success. Vicky joined RRC in 1997 and became a Director in 2004. She has presided over the development of a number of significant projects, including the development of various bespoke programmes for our corporate clients.

"To be really successful in training we need to continually assess market needs. We were one of the first providers to offer distance learning and e-learning for the NEBOSH National Diploma and now we've developed block release courses to complete our portfolio for this demanding and prestigious qualification."


Hasan Al Aradi MIOSH, MSc, MRST - Managing Director (RRC Middle East)

Hasan Al Aradi MIOSH, MSc, MRST - Managing Director (RRC Middle East)Hasan has been working in health and safety management in Bahrain for over 20 years, first with BAPCO and then with ALBA. He trained in the UK and Canada and in 1999 completed his Masters Degree in Risk Management and Safety Technology with Aston University (UK). He has been involved in training since 1990 and was the driving force in developing the close working relationship with RRC UK that led to the formation of RRC Middle East.

RRC recognises this important development and to meet the demands of globalisation by all trading partners, we plan further international expansion. The Middle East office will be at the forefront of this activity."

Andrew Young

Andrew YoungAndrew (grandson of RRC's founder David Young) joined the company in 1978 and has wide experience of all areas of RRC's operation. He was Principal from 1985 to 1996 and during this time was active in developing new courses including a Distance Learning MBA Programme with the University of Durham. He was for many years a Council Member of the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council, and an Executive Committee Member and Treasurer of the European Association of Distance Learning.
